Another Hexagon Pattern!

Hey y'all!
Ever since I made my first hex, I wanted to make another one. So I made a new Hex! :)

Materials

  • Worsted Weight Yarn
  • 6.00mm crochet hook/4.25mm crochet hook 
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors
Pattern
Special Stitches
Granny Cluster: 3dc into the same ch 1 sp
Granny Shell: 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc into the same ch 1 sp.

Hex:
With yarn, ch 5 and join to the first ch with a sl st.
Rnd 1: ch 3, 2dc, then ch 1 into the ring. * ch 1, Granny Cluster* Repeat from * to * 5 more times. Join to the ch 3 with a sl st.

It should look like this:

Rnd 2: ch 3, 2 dc, ch 1 into the same ch 1 sp. * Granny Cluster, ch 1* Repeat 4 more times. Join to the ch 3 with a sl st.

It should look like this:
Rnd 3: ch 3, 2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc into the same ch 1 sp. Granny Shell in every ch 1 sp. Join to the ch 3 with a sl st. 

It should look like this:
Rnd 4: ch 3, 2 dc into the same ch 1 sp. * Granny Shell, Granny Cluster* Repeat from * to * around. Join to the ch 3 with a sl st.
( You can stop here, but if you want to make the hex bigger, crochet round 5)
It should look like this:
Rnd 5: ch 3, 2 dc into the same ch 1 sp. * Granny Cluster* Repeat from * to * around. Join to the ch 3 with a sl st. 

It should look like this:
BO

Finishing
Weave in loose ends. 

And there you have it!! You can use these as coasters or as motifs. Enjoy!
